Warner Music Colombia wanted to position the playlist VeneSuena in the country and give visibility to Venezuelan artists. This in a cultural context where migration has also brought discrimination and xenophobia.
We turned the arepa —a symbol always discussed between Colombia and Venezuela— into a bridge of union, just like music does. Instead of going into the debate about “where the arepa is from,” we used the fact that it is shared by both countries and transformed it into a cultural meeting point.
